What We Do
/ Our Work /
Our aim is to make people understand forced work in its complexities and help people translate their understanding into tangible and meaningful action. We focus on the economic drivers of forced work and on economic leverage points for change – among the business community, with consumers, or in the public sector.

Who We Are
At The Anti-Slavery Collective, we take a systems-level approach to tackling modern slavery. We are not a service delivery organisation, but a platform for connection, collaboration and change.
Bridge Builders
We are a convenor of people, ideas and organisations. From survivor-led groups to business leaders and civil society networks, we build and sustain long-term relationships across sectors. Because modern slavery is not a siloed issue and is shaped by a web of social, economic, and political systems, we believe that stepping back and seeing the bigger picture is essential to connecting the dots and making progress.
Partnerships Creators
Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do. We create linakges between decision-makers, corporate actors, and grassroots organisations to forge new approaches to disrupting the business of modern slavery. We know this is not a challenge that can be tackled in isolation. That’s why we shine a light on the work of others and ensure that shared learning and mutual respect drive our partnerships forward.
Storytellers
We are an organsation dedicated to telling the complex and nuanced stories of exploitation through language that reaches people where they are, be it in a boardroom or classroom. By telling stories that inform and engage, we aim to turn awareness into action.
There comes a point where we need to stop just pulling people out of the river. We need to go upstream and find out why they’re falling in.
