The Anti-Slavery Collective has undertaken extensive research, working closely with experts across law enforcement, business, IP crime and civil society to show that counterfeiting is embedded in a complex criminal economy that preys on vulnerability and fuels a constellation of serious harms.

Our findings highlight the scale of fake fashion and the need for a more effective, coordinated response across law enforcement, governments, business and civil society — calling for counterfeit fashion to be recognised for what it is: a serious form of organised crime inextricably linked to human exploitation.
