In January 2026, TASC launched a work rights workshop series with ECPAT UK’s Boys’ and Young Men’s Group. Each workshop focuses on a different UK employment right and uses scenarios and case studies to help participants recognise fair and unfair working practices.

Workshops have covered issues like written contracts, payslips, minimum wage and rules on working hours.

In May 2025, TASC hosted a roundtable convening experts from the education sector and from social action and youth organisations to shape the design of the lesson plan pilot. Insights from the roundtable shaped our choice of target age group and our decision to trial the resources across a range of educational contexts spanning schools, pupil referral units and children’s homes.
